Obituary of Carol A. Curren

Carol Ann Curren Of Waukesha, died on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Carol was born on March 4, 1938, the daughter of Hartman and Harriet Gundrum in Merrick, New York. She married the love of her life Arthur B. Curren on June 22, 1963 in Freeport, NY. Carol worked as an executive secretary for Young & Rubican Advertising Firm on Madison Ave. in New York, also for Avis Rent a car on Long Island. She enjoyed bowling, was a member of the W.I.B.C. Life membership in P.T.A. where she served as president for two years in New York. Carol sold Tupperware for 28 years, starting in 1980 and worked with the Cub Scouts. She loved spending time with her family and helping people. Carol was a volunteer for Heartland Health Care Center and The Make A Wish Foundation. Carol will be sadly missed by her son, Chris A. Curren of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arthur. The memorial service for Carol will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center, 12875 W. Capital Dr. Brookfield, WI 53008. The visitation for Carol will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service. Rev. Pete Peterson will officiate. The inurnment will take place privately.
