Obituary of Joseph Dollak sr

Joseph Dollak, Sr. Born to Eternal Life on November 1, 2011. Beloved husband of Ellie for 34 years. Loving dad of JoRaine (Fred) Rohde, Joe, Jr. (Tammy), Gail (Jeff) Berg , Darlene (Craig) Barbian, Wayne (Pam), Debbie Dollak (Jack) , David (the late Evelyn) Durnil, and James (Kathy Gale) Durnil. Proud Grandpa Joe of Angie, Dawn (Steve), Jason (Suzy), Justin (Brooke), Sheila (Doug), Stephanie, Samantha, Danielle, Andrew, Desiree, Jeramy, Jacob, and Tommy. Great Grandpa Joe to Miguel, Ethan, Noah, Landon, Kendall , Tyler, Taylor, Zack, and Emma. Further survived by a sister, Rose, and numerous family and friends. Joe enjoyed golf, card games, watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, and playing bingo with Ellie. But his passion was his family, and he was happiest when sharing holiday meals, birthday celebrations, or other family gatherings with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Heil Corp in 1986 after 43 years of employment. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion over the course of the last several weeks, with special appreciation to Dr. Kerry Case and Bonnie Schuenke. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's name appreciated to Ascension Lutheran Church for their mission to help the underprivileged or the charity of your choosing. The visitation will be on Friday, November 4, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp St., Waukesha, WI 53188. Please feel free to wear the apparel of your favorite Wisconsin sports team to honor Joe.
