Obituary of Lola Flores
Lola Flores (nee Garza)
Of Waukesha, died on Sunday, November 6, 2011, surrounded by her family at the Virginia
Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 80 years. She was born on January 26, 1931 a
daughter of Serapio and Siria Garza. Lola was a hard worker who enjoyed cross stitching, sewing,
and cooking. She was also a "pro" thrift- shopper who found great deals at Goodwill and at area
rummage sales. Lola will always be remembered for her outgoing, opinionated, fun loving spirit.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.

Lola will be dearly missed by her children, Thomas "Tommy" Flores, Diane (Mark) Eckerle, David
(Kathy Shier) Flores, Delia Feight, Ophelia (Richard) Ricco and Tony (Debbie) Flores;
grandchildren, Mike, John, Brook, Julia, Christopher, Desarae, Ashley, Tabitha, Teresa, Mondi,
Bronson, Shawna and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Sean, Chloe, Kyler, Sophia and Casey; brothers,
Johnny (Mary) Garza and Mel (Jesse) Garza; sisters, Rosa Anderson, Susan (T.R.) Macareno,
Juanita Garza, Pauline Rodriguez, Olivia (Henry) Garcia and Betty Garza; special friend of the
family, Christine Howard-Turowski. Lola is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Serapio "JR" and infant
brother, Alfredo Garza; sister, Cleotilde "Cleo" Llanas; and infant grandson, Adam James Feight. ?
The visitation for Lola will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 5:30 p.m. memorial service on
Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland
Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Adam Mescher will be officiating. Memorials are
