Obituary of Keith Joseph Kositzke

Keith Joseph "Pugs " Kositzke Of Waukesha, passed away unexpectedly at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the age of 48 years. Keith was born on February 28, 1964, in Escanaba, Michigan, the son of LeRoy and Lynn (nee Possi) Kositzke. Keith was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was in the Airborne Division. He was a welder at Universal Welding and Engineering in Waukesha, Wisconsin for 13 years. Keith had a passion for gardening. He enjoyed watching sports, especially auto racing and the Detroit Lions. Most of all, Keith loved to cook for and entertain his close friends and family. Keith will be dearly missed by his mother, Lynn Kositzke of Escanaba, Michigan; his lifelong companion, Tammy Leipski of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his brothers, Todd Kositzke of Escanaba, Michigan and Adam (Terra) Kositzke of Green Bay, Wisconsin; his sister, Nancy Gatien of Powers, Michigan; his grandmother, Ruth Possi of Escanaba, Michigan; seven nieces and nephews; his dog, BoBo; and many other family and friends. Keith was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy; his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandfather; his uncle, David Possi; and his sister-in-law, Amy Kositzke. A visitation for Keith will be from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM memorial service on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend James Blixt will officiate the service. A private family interment will take place in Michigan at a later date. Keith was able to give the gift of life to others through organ donation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Keith's family in his memory.
