Obituary of Erwin H. Ebeling
Erwin H. Ebeling
Of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at
the age of 81 years. Erwin was born on October 1, 1930, the son of
William and Hedwig (nee Schmidt) Ebeling. He married the love of his life
Viola Robbins on February 21, 1951 and shared 60 glorious years together.
Erwin was a long-time member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church,
Waukesha. He was a mason for Wisconsin Electric for over 20 years. Erwin
was a kind, loving, handy man, who had a witty sense of humor. He will
always be remembered for thoroughly enjoyed a morning cup of
McDonald's coffee. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Erwin
proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean
Conflict.
Erwin will be sadly missed by his children, Pamela (Evan Howard) Ebeling
and Kurt (Cindy) Ebeling. He is the loving grandfather of Angela Ebeling,
Katelyn Dyer and Lauren Dyer; nieces, Linda (Gary) Gabel and Judy (Ken)
Mastenbrook. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Erwin
is preceded in death by his wife, Viola "Vi", daughter, Sandra Dyer,
parents, sister, Anna and brothers, Willie and Walter.
The visitation for Erwin will be from 3:00 p.m. until the Vigil service at
6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata &
Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1,
2012 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Hwy 59 Waukesha, WI
53189. The Reverend Jim Vojtik will be officiating. Entombment with
Military Honors will immediately follow the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic
Cemetery, Waukesha.
