Violet A. Tinnes
Of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Waukesha
Memorial Hospital at the age of 96 years. She was born on January 20, 1916, in
Waukesha, WI, the daughter of George and Bertha (Panawaski) Migach. Violet
was a longtime member at Ascension Lutheran Church, she was involved in the
bible study classes. She was well known for always having a smile. Most of all
Violet loved spending time with her family and babysitting for family.
Violet will be sadly missed by her children, Bernice Christensen of Waukesha and
Dennis (Sandy) LaFratta of Waukesha; grandchildren, David (Diane) Christensen,
Joseph (Susan) Christensen, Madonna Hoover, Paul (Denise) Christensen, Ann
(John) Siverling, Robin (Ryan) Sliga, Amy LaFratta, Angelo LaFratta; great-
grandchildren, Stephanie (Dylan) Johnson, Alison Christensen, Ashley
Christensen, Emily Christensen, Ryan Christensen, Jason Christensen, Amanda
Siverling, Christopher Siverling, Gabrelle Sliga; great-great-grandchild Caleb
Johnson; step-children, Karen (Don) Medler, James Tinnes, Mary Kay Pagliaro;
step-grandchildren, Johnny Medler, Jane (Mark) Busbia, Paul Pagliaro; great
step-grandchildren, Devon Busbia, Connor Busbia; sister, Alice Wenzel of
Waukesha. She is further survived by many, many, nieces, nephews other
relatives and friends. Violet is preceded in death by her first husband, Angelo
Julius LaFratta and second husband, Earl Tinnes; siblings, Josephine Yaeger,
George, Helen "Mitzie" Mattert and Frances Smart.
The visitation for Violet will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at
the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd.
Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the
11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, May 4, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415
Dopp St., Waukesha, WI 53188, Rev. Frank Janzow will be officiating. Burial will
immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
