Obituary of Harold F. Marose

Harold F. Marose Harold F. Marose. 89 of Waukesha, was welcomed home by his heavenly Father th on May 30 2012. He was born November 22, 1922 in Waukesha, the son of Frank and Lilia (nee Dagenhardt) Marose. Harold was a 1941 graduate of Waukesha High School and on October 9, 1948 he married Doris Yatzeck in nd Waukesha. Harold proudly served in the US Army, 42 Rainbow Division in the European theater during WWII. Harold was a lifelong member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran church in Waukesha. He was an avid deer hunter and musky fisherman, and was an accomplished wood worker, wood carver and portrait artist, using various mediums. Harold will be sadly missed by his sons, Paul (Kay) of Juneau, John (Sue) of Waukesha; daughter, Donna of Hartland; and grandchildren, Nicole, Jackie and Jim. Harold is further survived by sister, Carol Herr of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Marose of Waukesha; and many nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Doris; parents, Frank and Lilia; brother, Frank; brothers-in-law, Walter, Elmer and Jay Yatzeck, Ralph Herr, Frank Gabrysiak; and sisters-in-law, Francis Gabrysiak and Geri Yatzeck. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with the funeral service at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Arthur Koepsell presiding. Entombment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 700 Beechwood Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186.
