Obituary of LaVerne I. Eastman

LaVerne I. Eastman Of Waukesha, died on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Avalon Square at the age of 88 years. LaVerne was born on July 2, 1924 in Shorewood, WI, the daughter of Albert and Lillian Schumacher. LaVerne was a volunteer for the Wisconsin voting booths in Glendale. She was the loving caregiver for her husband for over 30 years. LaVerne was a fabulous cook, enjoyed embroidering quilts, table cloths and napkins, loved reading and was passionate about golf. LaVerne will be dearly missed by her son, Robert (Kathie) Eastman of Wales; daughter, Carol (Vern) Davidson of Lafayette, IN; 6 grandchildren, Julie (Lee) Stadler, Bill Eastman, Holly Eastman, Eric Davidson, Teresa (Andy) Fletcher, and Wendy (Keith) Watson; 7 great-grandchildren, Breanna, Brooke, Brady, Maddie, Kaitlynn, Chloe, Drew and Sean. Laverne is further survived by her sister, Sandie Heintzen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eastman Sr and her sister, Shirley. The visitation for LaVerne will be from 9:30AM until the time of the 11:00AM funeral service on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
