Obituary of Alan A. Carlson

Alan A. Carlson Of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 70 years. His devoted love for his late wife, Sharon, never wavered. Alan enjoyed playing baseball, cards, and shooting pool. Alan's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Alan will be dearly missed by his mother, Marian Schaefer; brother, Richard Carlson; sisters, Ardelle (Dean) Gottschalk and Sharon (Dennis) Ewald; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alan is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; father, Adolph; and nephew, Jeffrey Masche. The visitation for Alan will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Reverend Scott Oelhafen will be officiating. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow the memorial service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (see address above).
