Obituary of Laurence R. Cooper

Of New Berlin, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Larry was born in Racine, Wisconsin on May 10, 1928, the son of Harry E. and Kathleen (nee Madden) Cooper. Larry served in the U.S. Army. He married Lillian "Lil" (nee Lopour) on July 11, 1953. Larry worked as a salesman at Selig/Heiser Chevrolet for many years. Larry will be dearly missed by his wife, Lil; his children, Gail (Scott) Kapke, Susan (Harry) Bryant, and Karin (Michael) Kohlman; his grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Moser, Brian (Katie) Kling, Cooper and Josef Kohlman; He is further survived by his brother, Harry (Rosemary) Cooper and many other relatives and friends. The visitation for Larry will be from 4:00 PM until the 6:00 PM funeral service on Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Private burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha.
