Obituary of Leonard A. Mika

Of King, WI Formerly of Waukesha passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the age of 81 years. He was born May 28, 1931, in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Sofie Mika. Lenny married the love of his life Georgiana (nee Stowasser) on June 26, 1987. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, servicing in the Korean War. Lenny was very proud and meticulous when it can to raising his prize winning African Violets & Tea roses. In his early years Lenny enjoyed fishing in Canada, wood working, watching football and taking care of his two cats, Wilhelmina & Shadow. Most of all Lenny was a very caring person and friend to Georgiana and everyone he met. Lenny will be sadly missed by his wife, Georgiana of 25 years; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Elaine) Stowasser; step-daughter, Deanna "Dee" (James) Hardrath. He is further survived by other family members and his friends at Wisconsin Veteran's Home, King, WI. The visitation for Lenny will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 with military honors to follow at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Private burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery.
