Of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Sharon was born in Waukesha on May 30, 1940, the daughter of Louis "Bud" and Dorothy "Jane" (nee Fohey) Koeppen. She married the love of her life, David Sprecher on August 27, 1960. Sharon and David were former members of Waukesha Bible Church where they belonged for over 40 years. They were most recently enjoying their time at Faith Baptist Church in Waukesha. She worked as Head of Medical Records of the Omni Therapy Group in Waukesha for over 23 years. She loved to entertain her family at home and no one ever left hungry. Sharon was known for her incredible patience and her selfless and consistent care for people. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Sharon was looking forward to meeting her first great-grandchild, Logan Carl, who is to arrive in November. Her family was her world and the Lord was the center of her heart. Sharon will be incomprehensively missed by her husband of 52 years, David; her daughter, Shelly (Mike) Rynearson of Oconomowoc; her son, Mike (Barb) Sprecher of Waukesha; her granddaughter, Sarah (Matthew) Carl of Hartford; her grandson, Jon (Nicole) Sprecher of Waukesha; her sister, Donna (James) Nowak of Waukesha; her nieces, Jayne (Tom) Theriault, Julie Nowak and Janet (Yancey) Byrne; her nephew, Joe (Kris) Nowak; and many other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. The burial for Sharon will follow the funeral at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Memorials, if desired, are appreciated to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214. Sharon was a living testimony of unwavering faith in her Lord. She had complete trust in the Lord that he would do what was good and right in her life. This steadfast faith was most evident during her 23 year battle with cancer which she never once feared. She had an amazing peace because she has an amazing Lord. "She inspired those around her more than she could ever know."
