Obituary of June Rose Kipp

June Rose Kipp, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully at LindenGrove on Friday, October 26, 2012, at the age of 89 years. June was born on June 21, 1923, the daughter of John Emil and Lorraine (nee Erler) Hauck. She married the love of her life, Alfred F. Kipp on June 21, 1947. June was a dedicated member of Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church and was very active as a greeter and as a member of the altar guild and banner committee. She enjoyed sewing and crafting. More than anything, June loved to spend time with her family and her church involvement. June will be dearly missed by her children, Kristine (Don) Weltzien of Delafield, WI, Thomas (Mary) Kipp of Birmingham, AL, Michael Kipp of Waukesha, WI and James (Pamela) Kipp of Eagle, WI; her grandchildren, Beth (Tim) Stirmel, Andrew Weltzien, Jennifer (Chuck) Teschendorf, Amanda (Brad) MacDonald, Margaret Solveson and Christine Solveson; her great-grandchildren, Anna and Connor Stirmel and Hananiah, Lydia, Abigail and Jael MacDonald; she is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. June was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Kipp and her brother, Earl Hauck. A visitation for June will be from 4:00 PM until the 6:00 PM Funeral Service on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1941 Madison St., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Michael Turriff will officiate the service. The burial will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated by the family to Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1941 Madison St., Waukesha, WI 53188 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 620 S. 76th St., Ste. 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
