Obituary of Edward Nagel

Ed Nagel of, Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the age of 85 years. Ed was born on October 13, 1927, in Preston, WI, the son of Phillip and Veronica (nee Andercowski) Nagel. He married the love of his life, Susan "Sue" (nee Sellers), on June 30, 1951. Ed proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. For over 32 years, Ed worked at the Hopson Oil Company. He also worked at Nagel Heating for eight years. Ed eventually retired in 1997 from Dairyland Fuels. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. More than anything, Ed loved spending time with his family. Ed will be sadly missed by his children, David Nagel, Daryl "Duffy" (Laurie) Nagel and Toni (Scott) Beauchamp; his grandchildren, Matt Nagel, Ed (Heather) Nagel, Joe (Carina) Nagel, Grant Nagel, Alissa Schmidtke, Nicole (Sam) Mattke, Luke Beauchamp, Megan Beauchamp, Torry Beauchamp, Chelsea Beauchamp and Olivia Beauchamp; his one great-grandchild to be born in May; and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sue; his sister, Margaret Kowalkowski; and his brother, Lawrence Nagel. A visitation for Ed will be from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Pete Peterson will officiate the service. The burial for Ed will be on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
