Obituary of Clayton J. Klotz sr

Clayton John "Clay" Klotz, Sr. of Waukesha, died on November 8, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 years. He was born on May 28, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Arthur and Alice (nee Jakubicz) Klotz. Clayton proudly served in the U.S. Army. Clayton married the love of his life, Renee, on February 27, 1954. He was a long time member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Waukesha and served on the board as well as Head of Church Properties. Clayton retired in 1991 from Allen Bradley after 40 years of service as Product Designer. He will be remembered as enjoying woodworking, gardening, yard work, and spending time with family at the cottage in Lac Du Flambeau, WI. Clayton will be deeply missed by his wife, Renee of 58 years, his sons Mark (Debbie) Klotz, Clayton (Beth) Klotz Jr., Randall Klotz, and Todd (Patti) Klotz; his grandchildren, Melanie (Jake) Ehlers, Stephan (Christine) Klotz, Stephanie Klotz, Jessica (Ryan) Racette, Audra Klotz, Clayton Klotz III, Jared Klotz, Cole Klotz, Curt Klotz, Christine Klotz, Alexa Ahler, Halley Ahler, and Dustin Scott; great-grandchildren, Leah Klotz, Kendra Bartlein, Elise Racette, Raigan Klotz, Tyler Klotz, and Aubrey Klotz; his brother Donald (Judy) Klotz and sister Jane (Lou) La Rocca; his cousin David (Helen) Kanitz; daughter-in-law Margie (Derrick) Ahler, as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Allen, as well as both of his parents. The visitation for Clayton will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the 5:00 PM funeral service at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will be private at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated to Ascension Lutheran Church (address above) or the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin, 16655 W.
