Obituary of Glenn E. Parker

Glenn E. Parker, of Waukesha and Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the age of 96 years. He was born on March 12, 1916 in Milwaukee, WI, son of Jerome and Esther (Hochschild) Parker. Glenn lived in Wisconsin all his life except for when he lived in Sun City West, AZ. He lived there for 12 years, returning to WI in December 1998, living at River's Edge Apartments in Waukesha. Glenn was a past President of Milwaukee Jaycees and served on printing industry boards, both locally and nationally, for eight years. He also served as Board Chairman of Printing Industries of Wisconsin for two years and as former Vice-President of Kalmbach Publishing, and Trade Press Typographers. Glenn was owner and president of Parker Printing of Hartland, WI until retiring in 1983. He was a dedicated member of Kiwanis clubs in Wisconsin and Sun City West, Dousman, WI, No. 315 Masonic lodge and Southminster Presbyterian Church, Waukesha. Survivors include Glenn's beloved wife Anje of 73 years; son David (Anne) of Prairie du Sac, WI and daughter Linda of Oconomowoc, WI; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are Glenn's sister, Ruth Bronn of Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Perez; brother, Frank of Marinette, WI and parents. The visitation for Glenn will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Deacon Sally DeVriend will be officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date.
