Obituary of Michael A. Anzivino sr

Michael A. Anzivino Sr., of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the age of 93 years. He was born on September 27, 1919, in Waukesha, WI the son of Antonio and Ruth Anzivino. Mike married the love of his life Phyllis C. (nee Weileder) on May 4, 1946. He was a Proud WWII Army Veteran, member of the Disabled American Veterans where he was a Past State Commander. Mike was also a member of the V.F.W. Post Soat-Vergenz Post 721 of Waukesha. He was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church and a lifetime Member of the Milwaukee Carpenters Union. Mike was an avid golfer and devoted fan of the Packers and Badgers. Mike will be sadly missed by his children, Michael A. Anzivino Jr. of Waukesha; daughter, Patricia A. (Scott) Miller of Waukesha; grandchildren, Michael S. (Janette) Miller, Monica (Robert) Sweetman; great-grandchildren, Makayla Sweetman, Sydney Sweetman; sister-in-law, Betty Franz. Mike is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; brother, Lawrence and sister, Mary Mackie. The visitation for Mike will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the 6:45 p.m. V.F.W. Post 721 Soat-Vergenz memorial service; a vigil service will immediately follow on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 on Saturday and process from the funeral home for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment to immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
