Obituary of Geri J. Boehme

Germaine "Geri" J. Boehme, of Waukesha, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She was born on September 5, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Verona (nee Gottsacker) Karsnick. Geri married the love of her life, Merrill Boehme, on May 1, 1948. She was a longtime member of St. William's Catholic Church in Waukesha. Geri was great at knitting, sewing and crocheting. She loved to cook and enjoyed collecting recipes. Geri's greatest joy was spending time with her family, her children and visiting with her grandchildren. Geri will be sadly missed by her husband, Merrill, of 64 years; daughters, Mary Jo (Jeff) Krueger of St. Croix Falls, WI, Karen Boehme (Robert Mackey) of Elm Grove, WI and Julie (Dale) Alexander of Loveland, OH; her grand-children, Bryn (Ryan) Lillie of Dresser, WI and Janna Krueger of Minneapolis, MN; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Shingleton and Liam Lillie; her brother, Kenneth (Marie) Karsnick of Racine, WI; her brother-in-law, Thomas (Pat) Boehme; as well as other relatives and friends. Geri was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation for Geri will be from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Curt Frederick and Reverend Walter Boehme will officiate the Mass. There will be a private family burial of cremains at a later date at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated by the family in Geri's memory to Seasons Hospice, 3217 Fiddlers Creek Dr., Waukesha, WI 53188.
