Obituary of William G. Schroeder jr

Of Waukesha, WI, recently of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the age of 75 years. Bill was born on July 18, 1937, in Waukesha, WI, the son of William and Esther Schroeder Sr. He married the love of his life, Arlene (nee Zimmerman) on August 17, 1957. Bill attended Waukesha High School. He started his career in the building supply industry at Wilbur Lumber, worked at Western Building Products and Home Supply. Bill enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Arizona. He was an avid Packers fan, enjoyed sailing, golf and parachuting and most of all, loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife, Arlene, of 55 years; his children, David (Carol) Schroeder and John (Donna) Schroeder; grandchildren, Ben, Katie, Nick, Tyler, Maggie and Mitch; brother, John A. Schroeder "Jack". He is further survived by sister-in-law, Jean Anderson; nephew, Ken (Julie) Ebert; great-niece, Rycki; other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents. The visitation for Bill will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation for Bill will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, December 6th at Faith Baptist Church, 3250 Summit Ave. Waukesha, WI. The Reverend Doug Richards will be officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Memorials in Bill's name to H.A.W.S, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188 appreciated.
