Obituary of Frances Mary Belger

Frances Mary "Freck" Belger, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Avalon at the age of 89 years. Freck was born in Antigo, Wisconsin on March 2, 1923, the daughter of Frank and Maud O'Brien. Freck was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Waukesha. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, cooking and entertaining her family and friends. Freck will be deeply missed by her children, Kathleen "Kathy" (Ron) Skraban and Richard "Rick" (Debbie) Belger; her eight grandchildren, Scott (Tina), Mark, Jeffrey (Arlene), Amy (Eric), Amanda (James), Kimberly (Travis), Eric and Cara; seven great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Chloe, Christopher, Emma, Laura, Ellie and Tristan, and other relatives and friends. Freck is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, her parents, brothers, Thomas and Donald, and sister, Patricia. The visitation for Freck will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Howard Haase will officiate. The burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Mary Catholic Church (see address above) or to the charity of the donor's choice.
