Obituary of Barbara A. Georgia

Barbara A. Georgia, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 69 years. She was born on June 29, 1943 in Green Bay, WI the daughter of Edward and Lorraine Buerschinger. Barb married the love of her life, Jerry Georgia on August 20, 1966. She worked at the Medical College of WI for 12 years. Barb was an avid Wisconsin sports fan; cheering on the Packers, Brewers and Badgers football and basketball. She enjoyed her flower garden, traveling and Casino gaming especially Video Poker. Barb will be sadly missed by her husband, Jerry of 46 years and her sister, Stephanie (Martin) Umentum; nieces Amy (Tom) Peterson, Rebekah (Brian) Tisler; nephew, Kyle (Claire) Umentum; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Al) Jenkins. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and parents- in -law. The visitation for Barb will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Private burial will take place in Green Bay, WI.
