Obituary of George V. Adler

Of Waukesha passed away peacefully on January 2, 2013 at the age of 98 years. He was born on August 3, 1914, in Eagle, WI the son of William and Pauline Adler. George married the love of his life, Catherine Sobrofski on July 27, 1946. He was a lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church. George was a proud WWII Navy veteran, was a member of the VFW Post in Waukesha, and the Knights of Columbus. In his younger years he played baseball in the Land of Lakes area. George will be lovingly missed by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; brothers William, Ervin, and Henry; sisters, Madeline, Theresa, Margaret, Mary, Ann and Rose. The visitation for George will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. William Catholic Church 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will immediately follow the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
