Obituary of Jerome Hepp

Jerome Hepp, of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2013 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 76 years. He was born on April 9, 1936, in Waukesha, WI, the son of Miles and Bernice (nee Kreuser) Hepp. Jerome was a proud U.S. Army Veteran; he also worked for the U.S. Postal System in excess of 30 years. He enjoyed helping with the local Soap Box Derby races. During Jerry's racing years, B and M Auto Salvage sponsorship was very much appreciated. Jerry will be sadly missed by his children, Jeffery (Sylvia) Hepp of Waukesha, James (Mary) Hepp of Mukwonago and Joyce (John) Bannantine of Ames, IA; grandchildren, Jennette, John, David, Michael, Jordan, Emily, Christian and Noah; great-grandson, Jason. He is further survived by his brother, James (Eilene) Hepp and Milene (the late Donald) Wegner; former wife, Joanne Dobbeck; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jean Hepp; son, Jerry Hepp; brother, Thomas Hepp. The visitation for Jerry will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Andy Fetters will be officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church Quilter's in memory of Bernice Hepp and in honor of Joanne Dobbeck, 424 Hyde Park Ave. Waukesha, WI 53188 would be appreciated. A special thank you to Joanne for the care and ongoing friendship she gave to Jerry; as well as AngelsGrace Hospice for the compassionate care they showed during Jerry's stay there.
