Obituary of Paul M. Fay

Paul M. Fay of Glendale passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the age of 87 years. He was born on August, 27, 1925, in Waukesha, the son of Matthew and Josephine (nee Federer) Fay. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married the love of his life, Mary Miller on June 3, 1948. Paul has been a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a Legion Post #8 member for over 50 years. Paul worked for the Catholic Knights Insurance Company for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed cheering on the Badgers; traveling to Texas in the winter months and taking lifelong learning adventures with Elderhostel. Most of all Paul loved spending time with his family. Paul will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary of 65 years; his children, Chris Keenan, Paula (Dennis) Berg and Jennifer Fay (Jim) Skrabut; grandchildren, Anna and Ben Berg; niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Fay; brother, Robert Fay and son-in-law Charles Keenan. The visitation for Paul will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. Mary's Catholic Church (see address above).
