Obituary of Robert F. Wolf

Robert Wolf, of Muskego, was born into eternal life on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the age of 88. He was born on June 3, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Alois and Anna (nee Plewa) Wolf. Bob was a combat veteran during World War II. He received several commendations while serving as part of the U.S. Army Air Corps Bomber Flight Crew stationed in Stornarella, Italy. After the war, Bob married the love of his life, Ruth (nee Doyle), on November 27, 1948. He attended Marquette University and received a B.S. degree in Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for 37 years, mainly in Research & Development, and was the author of four patents. Bob was a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin. Upon retiring, Bob went on to teach for 14 years at WCTC. Bob was also active in the Prison Ministry, instructing CPR for the American Red Cross, teaching religious education classes to students, and serving on two Pewaukee Village boards for a total of ten years. He also had a fondness for Northern Wisconsin and will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his love of his wife and family. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth; children Robert (Kathleen) Wolf Jr., Paul (Linda) Wolf, Richard (Kim) Wolf, Anne (Mark) Hanson, Michael (Sherri) Wolf, and Margaret (Christopher) Keller; grandchildren Jordan Wolf, Zachary Wolf, Alex (Mary) Wolf, Max Wolf, Mitchell Wolf, and Samantha Wolf, Jeremy Hanson, Joseph (Alison) Hanson, and Laura Hanson, Chris (Beth) Wolf, Katie (Scott) Schmanski, Carolyn Keller, Marta Keller and Eleanor Keller; great-grandchild Christian Wolf; as well as by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Gertrude Sullivan and Dolores Wolf. The visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. The Reverend Howard Haase will officiate. Burial will take place immediately following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
