Obituary of William N. Hoskins

William N. Hoskins, of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the age of 69 years. He was born on September 7, 1943 in Olympia, WA, the son of John and Mildred Hoskins. Bill married the love of his life, Ruby Self on March 5, 1968. He was a proud United States Army Veteran; he served three years in the Army Corps of Engineers, finishing as a First Lieutenant with a year in South Vietnam. Bill was a professional licensed engineer, graduating with a master's degree in mining engineering. Since 2008, he has been a member of the All Writers' Workplace and Workshop, developing his writing skills. Bill enjoyed photography, golf, fishing and most of all, spending time with his family. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife, Ruby Hoskins; children, Nathan Hoskins of Waukesha and Elizabeth Hoskins of Waukesha; sisters, Gretchen Hoskins of California, DeEtte (Jeff) Huelse of Idaho; step-mother, Artys Hoskins of Idaho; sisters-in-law , Wanda (Wayne) Neilsen, Sharon (Hubert) Lambert, Marie (Gary) Ward and brother-in-law, Glen(Nancy) Self. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, sisters-in-law, Betty Ann Self, Virginia and her husband, Lonnie Redding.
