Obituary of Edith L. Perren

Edith L. Perren of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013 at the wonderful age of 101 years young. She was born on August 27, 1912, in Genesee, WI the daughter of Charles F. and Emma (nee Eggimann) Perren. Edith graduated from Waukesha High School; she then graduated from Carroll College and received her Master's degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She moved to Minneapolis in 1942 to begin employment with the General Mills Company. Edith retired in 1977 from General Mills as a corporate Accounting supervisor. She returned to Waukesha in 2009 to reside at Merrill Hills Manor Assisted Living. Edith is lovingly survived by her nieces and nephews, Dale Perren of Sandy, OR, Jacqueline (nee Perren) VanWilligen of Lexington, KY, Susan (nee Hall) Johnson of Columbus, OH, Nancy (nee Hall) Loss, Waukesha, WI, Richard Perren of Milton, WI, Jeffrey Perren Elgin, IL, Kenneth Perren of Waukesha, WI and David Perren of Port Washington, WI. She is further survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, friends and neighbors. Edith is preceded in death by her brothers, Edwin, Charles, Wilbert and Oscar Perren; sister, Emma "Amy" Hall. The visitation for Edith will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Edith's name to, Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Avenue. Minneapolis, MN 55403.
