Obituary of Katherine M. Gheller

Katherine M. Gheller, former Waukesha resident passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She was born in Eden, Wisconsin on January 13, 1920, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Nee Busa) Brazzale. Katherine was united in marriage to the former Anthony J. Gheller on August 20, 1943 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waukesha. She had been a member of St. William Catholic Church, and the Christian Women. Katherine is survived by her children, Valentino "Val" Gheller of Denver, CO and Madalyn Gheller of Milwaukee, WI; one granddaughter; Veronica Gheller of New York City, N.Y. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Anthony Gheller in 1990, one sister, Catherine Brazzle and by one brother, Valentino Brazzle. The visitation for Katherine will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at the chapel at the Lutheran Home, 7500 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213. The Rev. David Sorensen will be officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Waukesha, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Katherine may be given to the Lutheran Home 2 NW Unit, 7500 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213.
