Obituary of William H. Piotrowski

William H. Piotrowski of Waukesha, WI passed away on November 20, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Bill was born on September 23, 1926, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Frank and Cecelia (nee Ostrowski) Piotrowski. Bill was a proud United States Army World War II Veteran. He was united in marriage with Beatrice Drayna on June 9, 1951. Bill was a Charter Member of St. William Catholic Church. He worked at The Delphi Company for 20 years and later at the Kearney & Trecker Corporation for 11 years as a registered professional engineer. Bill was an active adult Boy Scout Leader for many years. Bill will be sadly missed by his children, Beatrice Piotrowski, Louann (Larry) Shanklin and William "Bill" (Mary) Piotrowski; his grandchildren, Amanda Piotrowski, Gabriel Piotrowski, Nicole (Kevin Yamanda) Shanklin, Larry (Kristi) Shanklin Jr.; great-grandchildren, Wade Shanklin, Hailee Shanklin and Elizabeth Yamanda; his siblings, Kenneth (Carol) Piotrowski, Carol (Mike) Bass, Celia Mae (Bill) Hinz; sister-in-law, Patricia Piotrowski; brother-in-law, Michael Drayna. Bill is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice; brothers, Eugene, Jerome and Ronald; sisters, Sylvia, Dorothy, Joyce, Rose, Virginia and Theresa; grandson, Nathanial. The visitation for Bill will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The entombment will follow immediately after the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
