Obituary of Susan M. Burdette

Susan M. Burdette, former resident of Genesee and Saylesville, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in Munds Park, Arizona at the age of 51 years. She was born in Waukesha, WI on March 10, 1962, the daughter of Carlton and Karen (Nee Artz) Burdette. Sue had been employed at Northern Arizona University. Sue enjoyed being outdoors, she especially enjoyed flowers, birds, and animals. She also enjoyed being a handywoman and will be remembered for wanting to help others. Susan is survived by her parents, Karen (Mickey) Cook of Dousman, special aunt and uncles, Carol (Eugene) Kolakowski of California, Scott W. Burdette of Genesee, WI and very special friends LeeAnna and J.B., and all her friends in Munds Park, Arizona and all of the staff at the Flagstaff Cancer Clinic. Also surviving are many other relatives and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Carlton G. Burdette; one brother, Monty M. Burdette, her companion of thirty years, Manuel Hernandez and by her grandparents. In accordance with Susan's wishes there will be no visitation or service.
