Obituary of Randall J. Knapik

Randall J. Knapik of Waukesha, passed away of natural causes, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his residence at the age of 63 years. He was born in Waukesha on November 10, 1950, the son of Raymond J. and Dawn M. (nee Burdett) Knapik. Randy was a 1968 graduate of Waukesha High School. He had been employed in the Shipping and Receiving Department at Ortho-Kinetics, Inc. in Waukesha and was currently employed at Farm and Fleet. Randy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Randy enjoyed singing and listening to music, Facebooking, enjoyed cooking, watching T.V. and movies. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. But most of all he loved his family and took great pride in attending his nieces and nephews school programs, sporting events and any other activities that they were involved in. If there was a special activity you could always count on Uncle Randy to be there. Randy will always be remembered for having a kind heart, a giving spirit, and a great belief in God. One of Randy's charitable donations was the giving of blood, which he donated for over 20 years. He was also on the bone marrow registry. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Dawn of Waukesha; brother, Gregg Knapik of Waukesha, sisters, Marilee (Kurt) Knapik-Christensen of Racine and Wendy (Rick) Corgiat Jr. of Waukesha; six nieces, Britany (Scott) Fisher-Kerns, Brooklyn Fisher, Sahara, Seneca, and Jericho Knapik-Christensen and Shaunna Corgiat; two nephews, Denmark and Canaan Knapik-Christensen; one great-nephew, James Jude Kerns; one great-niece, Elle Beth Kerns and one aunt, Lani Alexander of Waukesha. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Raymond Knapik and one great-niece, Emmy Robin Kerns. The visitation for Randy will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. (NOON) until the 3:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata, & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188. The Rev. William Key will officiate. Private Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Randy may be given to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, Inc. (HAWS) 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188 or the American Diabetes Association-Wisconsin, 375 Bishops Way, Suite 220, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005.
