Obituary of John C. Kovari

Of Hales Corners, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the age of 86 years. He was born in Nyíredháza, Hungary. John attended the Corvinus University in Budapest and worked for an energy company there for several years. He fled the country during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, living for many years in the Chicago area and settling in Milwaukee in 1975. He worked as an electrical engineer for the Miller Brewing Company until his retirement in 1992. John loved gardening, deer hunting, enjoying the outdoors, and (his favorite activity) sailing. John is the beloved father of Dr. Monika (Bradley) Baldridge and Dr. John (Jennifer) Kovari; proud grandpa of Zachary, Alexander, and Isabelle; brother of Arpad (Kati) Kovari of Hungary; friend and former husband of Georgie Kovari and is further survived by other relatives and friends. John is preceded in death by his brothers, Bela and Joseph. A family service will be held on January 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
