Obituary of Mary Ann Hartling

Mary Ann Hartling, lifelong resident of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of Edward and Mary (nee Zollner) Frank. Mary Ann graduated from Waukesha High School in 1941. She was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church and a member of the Christian Mothers; she volunteered and helped on many projects at church. She enjoyed sewing and playing the piano, especially playing the song "Beautiful Ohio" for her mother. Mary Ann worked for nine years at the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce until her retirement in 1948. Mary Ann will be sadly missed by her children, James Philip of Madison, WI, John (Juanita) Hartling of Chester, VA and Mary (Gregory) Rupnow of Sun Prairie, WI; grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer) Hartling, Jennifer Howell and Heather (Bill) Weber; great-grandchildren, Bridget, Lucas, Justin, Brittnay, Kirsten, Katlyn, Victoria, Kristen and Melena; one great great grandson, Zaden. She is further survived by nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Philip and sister, Catherine Fleischmann. The visitation for Mary Ann will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December, 27, 2013 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The interment will take place immediately after the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Mary Ann's name appreciated to St. William Catholic Church (see address above).
