Obituary of Richard R. Boehmke

Richard R. Boehmke of Dousman, died on Monday, January, 20, 2014 at Clement J. Zablocki Veteran's Hospital in Milwaukee at the age of 79 years. Dickie was born on October 3, 1934 in Waukesha the son of Frank and Frances (nee Dick) Boehmke. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp and went on to work for Amron Corp. until his retirement on April 13, 1966. Dickie was a member of the Ft. Atkinson and the Waukesha Eagles Club, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and active in the church choir. Richard is survived by his daughter, Christine (Kenneth) Lounds of Scottsdale, AZ; his siblings, Mary Wilkie of Waukesha, David Boehmke of Montello, Susan Kocher of Waukesha and Barbara (Robert) Dunn of Upland, CA. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Anna and brother Frank "Jim". The visitation for Richard will be held from 10:30 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, At St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Bill Key will officiate. The burial will immediately follow at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, Milwaukee.
