Obituary of Carol Jean Kanter

Carol Kanter of Waukesha, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Carol was born in Waukesha, WI on September 20, 1940, and lived most of her life in Waukesha. Carol attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School. She married Waldermore "Wally" Kanter on September 7, 2012. Carol was a great seamstress, sewing, knitting and crocheting all kinds of things. She enjoyed drawing, painting and was a good cook. Carol will be sadly missed by her loving husband Waldermore "Wally" Kanter; son, Philip Stern; her siblings, Lawrence, Anthony (Kathy), Daniel, Michael Anzivino, Sharon Wolf and Donna(Blayne) Struve. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol is preceded in death by grandparents, Anthony and Ruth Anzivino, her parents, Lawrence and Ellen (Nee Dahms) Anzivino; sister, Ruth Johnson; an aunt, Mary Mackie and a great-niece, Tezra. The visitation for Carol will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Carol may be given to the family.
