Obituary of Alan D. Fine

Alan D. Fine of Delafield, WI, Born to Eternal Life on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 64 years. He was born on March 25, 1949 in Berwyn, IL, the son of Roland and Mildred Fine. Alan married Susan M. Fatigati on April 12, 1975 and he was her beloved husband and best friend for 38 years. He was an avid cyclist and car enthusiast. Alan enjoyed biking, hiking, woodworking and wood refinishing. He had a natural eye for photography. Alan would read about car repair and be able to fix any car, which he loved driving on windy rustic roads. Most of all he was looking forward to retirement in March and being able to travel to the national parks in Wyoming, Colorado and Alaska with his wife. Alan will be sadly missed by his mother, Mildred Fine; his wife, Susan; his children Jessica (Andrew) Walter, Mark (Liz) Fine and Michelle (Marc Tuler) Fine; proud Papa to his grandchildren, Owen, Sydney and Carter; brothers, James (Cheryl) Fine and Roy Fine; brother-in-law, James (Cathy) Fatigati; sisters-in-law, Debora (Bill) Tarmann, Patricia (Gary) Cieplewski and Kim Fatigati. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alan is preceded in death by his father. The visitation for Alan will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Celebration of his Life on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers memorials in Alan's name may be given to the family toward a memorial bench on the bike trail that he loved to travel on.
