Obituary of Janet A. Hase

Janet A. Hase of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 64 years. She was born on March 20, 1949 in Eau Claire, WI and graduated from Elk Mound High School. Janet married the love of her life, Ronald "Butch" Hase on April 27, 1968. She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Janet was an LPN at area nursing homes where she was dedicated to caring for the elderly. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Janet will be lovingly missed by her best friend and husband of forty-five years, Butch; her children, Ronald Jr. (Marina), Amy (Christopher) Pinkerton, Steven (Alison) and Eric (Michelle); her grandchildren, Daniel, Nicole, Ellie, Halla, Abigale and Landen. She is further survived by her siblings, Ronald (Sandra) Steen, Beverly (Pat) Bartholomew, Karen Price, John (Cheryl) Steen, Joseph Steen and Charles Steen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Janet is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Steen and father, Erwin Steen. The visitation for Janet will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Amy Chapel, E9882 370th Ave. Eau Claire, WI 54703. The burial of cremains will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Menomonee, WI. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or to a charity of the donor's choice are appreciated.
