Obituary of Anne L. Birsching

Anne L. Birsching of Waukesha, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at River Hills West in Pewaukee, at the age of 50 years. She was born in Mobridge, South Dakota on January 14, 1964, the daughter of William and Helen (Groth) Birsching. Anne was a graduate of Luther Prep School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UWM in Linguistics and German. Anne had been employed as a Waitress and Manager for a Milwaukee restaurant. She had served in the U.S. Army reserves for eighteen years and the U.S. Army for three years. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and had been a member of various music organizations. Anne enjoyed traveling, reading and music. She will be remembered for her cheerful disposition, her winning smile and her faith in the Lord. She will be dearly missed by her parents, William and Helen Birsching, her three brothers, Mark Birsching of San Jose, CA; Paul Birsching of Oshkosh, WI; and John Birsching of Watertown, WI. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. The visitation for Anne will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Avenue, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53186. The Rev. Larry Gates will be officiating. The graveside service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Park, 5402 N. 91st. Street, Milwaukee, WI 53225. (Please meet in front of the office). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Anne may be given to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. (See address above).
