Obituary of Charles L. Elliott

Chuck L. Elliott of Waukesha, WI passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Chuck was born in Goshen, IN on March 19, 1928, the son of Bruce and Alva Elliott. He married Doris Schoenike on July 5, 1980. In Chuck's younger years he was a produce manager at the Kroger Store in Goshen, IN and later he worked as a truck driver for the Johnson Controls company for 13 years and the Anderson Bowling Company. He was a member of the Fox River Christian Church and enjoyed fishing and was an avid wood worker, making all kinds of furniture, doll houses and rocking horses. Most of all Chuck loved to be with his family. Chuck will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Doris; his son, Steve (Linda) Elliott; his step-children, Cindi (John) George, Thomas (Anna) Dittmann, Timothy Dittmann, James (Ame) Dittmann, Candi (Wendell) Derrick and Sandy (Dan) Bucko. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Susan, a sister and five brothers. The visitation for Chuck will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 4:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend John Mundt will be officiating. The burial will take place privately at Prairie Home Cemetery.
