Obituary of Kristen L. Edwardsen

Kristen Lenore Edwardsen of Waukesha, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 57 years. She was born in Shelby, Ohio on March 7, 1957, the daughter of Clarence G. and Carolyn J. (St. Clair) Mack. The family had lived in Campbellsport, WI, and in 1975 Kristen graduated from Waukesha South High School. After graduating, Kristen moved to Colorado and later to California. She moved back to Waukesha in 1983. She met the love of her life Gary E. Edwardsen and on December 13, 1986 they were married at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. The family lived in West Allis until 1992 when they moved to Greenville, SC living there until 2000. The family had lived in Buford, GA, Pewaukee, WI, and Waukesha, WI. Kristen was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she served as a Youth Group Leader. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and for her faith in the Lord. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Gary, children, Samuel (Jennifer Brusko) Edwardsen and Menaka Edwardsen; sister, Beth Mack, two brothers, Steven Mack and Marcus (Shelley) Mack; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mervyn (Barbara) Edwardsen. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Carolyn Mack; nephew, Ian Mack and great-niece, Olivia Swartzmiller. The visitation for Kristen will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 pm (Noon) Memorial Service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188. Inurnment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Kristen may be given to the family.
