Obituary of Viola Paulson

Viola Paulson "Vi" (nee Anderson), of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home at the age of 93. Vi was born in Elroy, WI on March 11, 1921, the daughter of Avery and Mable Anderson (nee Olson). She graduated from Waukesha High School in 1938 and married the love of her life, Joseph Daniel Paulson on October 21, 1939. Vi worked at Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 50 years and was their longest employee. Vi will be dearly missed by her children, Nancy Lee Paulson, Daniel Joseph (Kathleen) Paulson, Sharon Lynn (Michael) Casper and John Nels (Jane) Paulson; "other child", Fred (Sandra) Nagao; grandchildren, Joseph Paulson, Sarah (Steve) Kovacic, Nathan (Ann) Johansen, Craig (Cristine) Casper, Anthony (Mame) Casper, Joseph Paulson, Victoria Paulson, Philip Paulson; "other grandchildren", Damon (Bushra) Klein, Randie (Jeremy) Ota, Reid (Jayme) Nagao; great-grandchildren, Otelia Paulson, Robert and Lily Kovacic, Gunnar and Isabella Johansen, Colton, Caden and Cambell Casper; "other great-grandchildren", Zain and Aila Klein, Taylor Ota and Tyler Nagao. She is also survived by her sisters, Avis (Jack) Bartelme, Carol Stache, Kathleen (Tom) Hunt and Donna Pasternock; and many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Daniel; loving parents, Avery and Mable Anderson, brothers, Keith, Leonard, Lyle, infant Marvin Anderson and sister, Geneva Frank. The first visitation for Vi will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. with a time for sharing at 7:00 P.M. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI. 53188. The second visitation for Vi will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St. Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Kathy Boadwine will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
