Obituary of Sterling T. Johnson

Of Waukesha, surrounded by his family, unexpectedly died on August 30, 2014, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI, at the age of 19 years. Sterling was born in Brookfield on November 3, 1994 son of Andre' and Barbara Johnson. Sterling enjoyed gaming, camping, being outdoors, playing football, and spending time with his four-legged friends, his cat, Leah and dog, Jake, family, especially his niece, Bella, his girlfriend, Savannah and many friends. Sterling will always be remembered for his beautiful and infectious smile, his witty sense of humor, and his big heart and warm soul. Sterling will be dearly missed by his parents, Andre' and Barbara Johnson; sister, Alexandra Johnson; grandparents, Lee and Ruth Grages; loving girlfriend, Savannah Seymour; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Sterling is preceded in death by his grandmother, Evangelist Emma Jean Potts. The first visitation for Sterling will be held from 4PM until 7PM on Friday, September 5, 2014, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will be held from 9:30a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Christ the Life Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Lung Association, 3000 Kelly Ln, Springfield, IL 62711 are appreciated.
