Obituary of Penny A. Simmons

Penny A. Simmons of Pewaukee passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2014, with her loving family by her side at the age of 66 years. She was born on March 2, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Jack and Ruth Smith. She married the love of her life, Gary Simmons on November 23, 1968. Penny was a long time member of St. William Catholic Church. She and Gary enjoyed Lake Michigan, boating on the "Penny Too Many". Just recently they started RV camping and going out to dinner was always a treat. Most of all Penny loved spending time with her family. Penny will be sadly missed by her husband, Gary of 46 years; her mother Ruth; sister, Christine Haas; sister-in-law, Kathy(Bill) Bohlmann; nephews, Paul Haas, Joey(Carrie) Bohlmann; nieces, Sara Bohlmann, Kristine(Robin) Gohsman. She is further survived by her four legged friend Lucy, cousins, other relatives and tons of friends. Penny was preceded in death by her father, Jack. The visitation for Penny will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 Noon Memorial Mass on Friday, September 19, 2014, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 531288. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The burial will take place privately. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Horizon Hospice, AngelsGrace Hospice and the Froedtert Medical Center for the compassionate care they gave to Penny.
