Obituary of Calvin M. Castner

Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at the age of 82. He is now reunited with his son Jeffery who went before him. Cal proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was also a member of the VFW Soat - Vergenz Post 721. He was successful in his longtime career at Sears selling big ticket items until he retired in 1989. Cal loved to fish, hunt, golf, bowl and play Sheepshead. In his later years he carried a 192 average. Living on Lake Kristine in Saxeville, WI allowed him to fish and enjoy lots of golfing with his many friends. In 2001, he moved back to Pewaukee where he and Jane enjoyed spending time creating warm memories with their family, especially his lovely grandchildren. Cal will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, Jane; his children, Carey (Patty), Rick (Annette) and Brent (Kathy); his grandchildren, Josh (Kim), Ross, Jacob, Reanne, Lindsey and Conner; his twin sister, Carol (Don) Dion and sister, Pat Rupp; further survived by other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey; brother, Mike and brother-in-law, Bob.
