Obituary of Lily Orth

Lily Orth, lifelong resident of the Waukesha area, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at LindenGrove, Waukesha, at the age of 95. Lily was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on June 12, 1919, the daughter of Grover and Agnes Hunkins. She married the love of her life, William Orth on February 3, 1951. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and spending time on the Wisconsin River. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lily proudly served her country in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Georgia, England, France and Germany. Lily went on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight to visit Washington D.C. and see her World War II Memorial in May of 2014. Lily will be dearly missed by her children, Bill Orth, Jim (Elizabeth) Orth and Betty (Brian Spicer) Orth; grandchildren, Jesse (Jessica), Sam, Will, Larry and Robert Orth; great-grandchildren, Dieonte, Nathan, Reanna and Owen. Lily is further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill and her brothers, Henry, Andrew and Patrick; and sister, Gladys. The visitation for Lily will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. Memorials in Lily's name are appreciated and will be donated to a charity at a later date.
