Obituary of Elizabeth G. Anders

Betty Anders of Waukesha passed away peacefully at LindenGrove on Monday, January 2, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Betty was born in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Pauline Alm. She married the love of her life, Raymond "Ray" Anders on August 30, 1939. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wales and was most recently a member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Betty worked for many years at Stern's Clothing Store in downtown Waukesha. She enjoyed golf and knitting; most of all, Betty loved to spend time with her family. Betty will be dearly missed by her children, Larry (Lorna) Anders of Waukesha and Thomas (Theresa) Anders of Waukesha; her grandchildren, Lorie (Kyle) Juno of Waukesha, Michael (Tracey) Anders of Oconomowoc, Todd Anders of Waukesha and Tracie (Troy) Naatz of Watertown; her nine great-grandchildren, Brendan, Melissa, Kaile, Darren, Tyler, Lindsay, Tommy, Jenna and Evan; her sisters-in-law, Pat Anders of Sun Prairie and Betty (George) Venes of Waukesha and many other family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; sister, Georgene (David) Gunther; brothers-in-law, Ivan, Jesse, Dean and Virgil Anders and sister-in-law, Doreen Manak. A visitation for Betty will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Cesarz, Charapata and Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Timmothy Heath, Sr. will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated by the family to Christ the Life Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53188. The family would like to thank all the caring staff at LindenGrove, for the compassionate care they gave Betty.
