Obituary of Billy Daryl Sewell

Cherished member of our community, long-time resident Billy Daryl Sewell peacefully departed this world on January 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80.

Billy, born on October 4, 1943, in Oxnard, California, was the beloved son of Clarence and Julia Sewell. On May 1, 1966, he married the love of his life, Janice. With a career spanning many years in field service at Siemens, Billy was dedicated to his work and brought his passion for excellence to everything he did. He honorably served in the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class his rate was Machinist Mate.

An avid outdoorsman, Billy took great pride in his family. His love for his children and grandchildren knew no bounds, and the joy he found in their company was evident to all who knew him. Billy's enthusiasm for life extended to his hobbies, and he reveled in the freedom of driving around in his 2010 Corvette Grand Sport.

Each of Billy's sons will hold cherished memories of shared activities. From overseas visits from Daryle to fishing adventures with Darin and memorable road trips with Darrick, these experiences forged bonds that will endure through time.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Janice, and their devoted children: Daryle (Nicole) Sewell (Germany), Darin (Rebeca) Sewell, and Darrick (Brenda Lavagna) Sewell, grandchildren: Gunner Sewell and Sloane Sewell, brothers; Bobbi (California) and Grady (Oklahoma). His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, joy, and shared moments will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
