Obituary of Mark Melby

Mark W. Melby “Melby” passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born on January 11, 1960, to parents William and Lila Melby (nee Mester). Mark was a very caring and loving brother and friend. He was also a longtime member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church. He retired from Navistar International in Waukesha, WI. Mark was the superintendent of the Open Foods Class at Waukesha County Fair with his sister Cindy. He was a member of several organizations. In his spare time, he loved to play darts, go bowling, travel up north, sit in front of the bonfire, and have a good time eating and drinking with his family and friends.

Mark will truly be missed by his loving sister; Cynthia Melby “Cindy”. His best friends of over 40 years Tom Kahn and Jim (Marlene) Holden, aunt; Pat Kocher, and a host of many cousins and friends.

The visitation for Mark will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until the start of services at 6:00 p.m. at St. Marks Ev. Lutheran Church 424 Hyde Park Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial services will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Wednesday October 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. we will meet at the front chapel.
