Obituary of Donald L. Groth

Donald Groth Entered God’s loving arms at the age of 83 on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Audrey (nee. Ziemer). Don was the cherished dad of Mark (Patricia), Ann (Robert) Rudzitis, and David.  He was the proud grandpa of Jonathan, Sarah, Rosa, Samuel, Joseph, and Daniel. He was the adoring great-grandpa of Ava and Paz. He is further survived by his siblings, Marvin (Delores) and Mary (Henry) Rofritz. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Roger and Howard, and sister Elsie.  

Donald was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved to travel to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He enjoyed fishing and Card Club with dear friends. Though not a huge sports fan, he appreciated going Brewers games.  

A Visitation for Don will take place Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. At the conclusion of the service, he will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery.
