Obituary of Marty Oelmann

Marty (nee Kaczmarek) Oelmann, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

Marty was born on October 13, 1949 to Roy and Ellie (nee Ramponi).  She married Tom Oelmann in 1993.

Marty attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee and graduated from Alverno College in 1971.  She worked at General Split, Rexnord, AquaChem, and Cargill and enjoyed living in Milwaukee, Denver, Minneapolis and eventually enjoying her retirement years in her much loved home in Waukesha. 

Besides Marty’s love of music, she and Tom enjoyed traveling the world, trying out local eateries,  their weekend retreat in Vail, nature drives and their kitties Angel and Grace.  Marty is survived by her husband Tom, her mom, Ellie, sister Mary (nee Kaczmarek) and John Moser, brother Dave and Tina (Jensen) Kaczmarek, brother Greg and Sue (nee Evinrude) Kaczmarek, sister Diana Gallegos (nee Kaczmarek), and sister-in-law Mary Kay Collins (nee Oelmann).  She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews,  22 grand nieces and nephews, 1 great-grand niece and many other beloved relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Roy Kaczmarek, brother-in-law John Collins, and other much loved aunts, uncles and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held with a visitation at 10:00 am, followed by Catholic mass at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 5 , 2021 at St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI.  Interment will follow the mass at Mount Olivet Cemetery & Mausoleum.
